Newhaven had been neglected for years by the local Lib Dems who have run the town council and been both your district and county councillors. From the introduction of the ring road which killed the town centre to the fight with the French port which saw the beach closed to local people.
Improvements have taken place on the A27 from the new shared path, making it safer for cyclists and pedestrians to a new crossing between Firle and Glynde and junction improvements at Polegate.
East Sussex County Council are consulting on whether to bring in parking charges to the Landport estate. I want to support residents in their wishes and so am asking do you want residents parking permits introduced.
