Maria has been campaigning alongside local Conservative councillors in Seaford for improvements to the A259 junctions at Bishopstone, Marine Parade and Hill Rise to improve the safety of all road users.
Maria has been involved in the A259 Corridor Study by East Sussex County Council and has been lobbying hard for Bishopstone to be made a priority for the case that will be submitted to Government.
Maria was previously successful in having the speed limit lowered, but knows that further solutions need to be in place and she will be lobbying the Government for the funding to take serious action.
Maria has been hugely successful in securing government funding across the constituency, including nearly £50 million to regenerate Newhaven and £8 million to replace Exceat Bridge.
