Statement on Recent Twitter Post

This week I retweeted a video of an interview with the Leader of the Opposition  which, unknown to me, had been doctored and gave a very different account of what he actually said.

I simply made a mistake in retweeting this tweet and I deleted it immediately I knew it was fake news.
