Maria Caulfield, Member of Parliament for Lewes, recently welcomed the Seaford Women’s Institute to parliament where they had a tour of the parliamentary estate and then met with the Lewes MP afterwards for a Q&A session where a number of national and local issues were raised.
Following the visit, Judith Alcock from the Seaford WI said:
“On behalf of Seaford WI I would like to thank you for agreeing to arrange the tour of the Houses of Parliament for our group and to meet us all afterwards. We all thoroughly enjoyed the visit and the tour guides were excellent. It was good to learn about how government works. It was nice to meet you and we appreciated you answering our questions about our concerns in Seaford.”
