Maria Caulfield, Member of Parliament for Lewes, is pleased to welcome the new contractor, Balfour Beatty, who will be repairing pot holes in East Sussex.
The Conservative Government has recently awarded East Sussex £2,360,000 extra to help fill the potholes.
The new contractor for East Sussex County Council, who is now in place, will hopefully be repairing pot holes to a higher quality with a shorter waiting time.
Maria Caulfield MP said:
“I am very pleased we have a new contractor to help us in East Sussex to repair pot holes.
My hope is that with this new contractor, they will be repaired to a much higher quality than what we have been seeing across East Sussex where they are repaired, the Winter comes, they crack, and East Sussex County Council are right back at where they started.
