Maria Caulfield, Member of Parliament for Lewes, is thrilled the government is supporting more young people to earn while they learn through apprenticeships.
This year, National Apprenticeship Week ran from Monday 6th February to Sunday 12th February.
Throughout the week, schools, colleges, employers, career advisers and thousands of students come together online to celebrate Apprenticeships in support of the Government-run National Apprenticeship Week. Top employers and organisations come together to showcase their opportunities to thousands of attendees, who are actively seeking an apprenticeship.
Maria Caulfield MP said:
“National Apprenticeship Week 2023 is the 16th annual celebration of apprenticeships with the theme ‘Skills for Life’.
The week reflected on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and help businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with skills for the future.
I am very pleased that there have been nearly 6,000 apprenticeships taking place in my constituency alone and I look forward to helping more take place. #NAW2023”
