The Federation represents, influences, and informs to improve the pay and working conditions of its members, to enhance the efficiency of Sussex Police, and thereby safeguard the community of Sussex.
This was a hugely beneficial opportunity for the MPs to discuss pay, working conditions and training opportunities. Including ways in which they can encourage more people to become police officers.
Maria Caulfield MP said
“It was great to meet with the Sussex Police Federation this week with East Sussex colleagues to discuss pay, working conditions and training.
It was also helpful to be able to feedback how much we value our local police force and how residents welcome the extra police officers across Sussex.
I very much look forward to continuing to work with the Police Federation going forward.”
