Maria Caulfield, Member of Parliament for Lewes, calls on Lewes & Wealden District Council to sit down and create local plans so developers can't build on more greenfield sites.
Maria has been asking the councils for years to create local plans, with no luck, so she took it to Michael Gove MP and Minister for Housing to discuss putting the councils into special measures, ensuring they create these plans and protect greenfield sites.
"It's not fair on local people, they elect local councillors to get the local plans done."
"Enough is enough"
