Maria Caulfield MP joined local residents at the Downs 60+ Club for their Platinum Jubilee celebration on Sunday 5th June.
The event including a showing of members art, a variety of Jubilee related competitions along with teas and cakes throughout the day.
The Downs 60+ Club are open 7 days a week 9am - 4pm in the Old Flint Barn which is in the grounds of the Wave Leisure Centre in Seaford. They offer a wide variety of activities which include: Snooker, Table tennis, Art, Keep fit, Exercise and dance, Chair exercises, Craft and chat, Croquet, Choir, Scrabble, Cards, Board games, Fortnightly discussion group, Music appreciation and more.
Subscription is just £55 per annum or less for part of the year which entitles members to take part in any number of activities as often as they wish. Those interested can enjoy two sessions for free to see if they like it before joining.
