The Moon of India has re-opened its doors to customers with the owners inviting Maria Caulfield MP to the re-launch of the ever popular curry house.
A ceremonial cutting of the ribbon marked the occasion with the Lewes MP and the Mayor of Seaford sharing the honour.
After a warm welcome from the owners, Maria Caulfield gave a short speech and joined local residents to sit down for a meal in the newly refurbished restaurant.
Speaking following the occasion, Lewes MP shared her congratulations: “The Moon of India is a well- loved Seaford establishment. It was a real pleasure to be able to officially re-open the restaurant following an extensive refurbishment.”
Originally the first curry restaurant in Seaford, the Moon of India is highly respected and established in the town. With the local business owners having had to overcome many difficulties over the years, Maria welcomed the restaurant doing so well.
“It was great to see The Moon of India looking so good following this investment by such well-respected members of the local community. I am looking forward to see The Moon of India continuing to thrive and go from strength to strength”
