Lewes MP Maria Caulfield has welcomed over £100,000 in funding for the creative industries in her constituency in the first half of 2021.
This year between January and July, Arts Council invested a total of £110,362 in the Lewes constituency via the Developing Your Creative Practice and National Lottery Project Grants.
Across the South East, Arts Council has invested a total of £12,084,040 in over 754 organisations and individuals.
Maria Caulfield MP said “It is excellent news that this funding is being provided to people across our creative and arts industry across the Lewes constituency in the first half of 2021. This funding will be able to help these artists and performers to continue what they are doing and get back to work as restrictions have eased. I hope that this funding will really be helpful to them and add to their success.”
