A further £470,484 has been awarded through the Coronavirus Community Support Fund that the National Lottery distributed on behalf of DCMS.
One such organisation that received funds in the Lewes constituency was Headway, whose Reaching Out Headway project received £283,377 from the National Lottery.
Maria Caulfield MP said “I would like to thank the National Lottery and all of those who play it across the constituency for the nearly half a million pounds that will benefit organisations across the local area. Over half of this funding has gone to Headway who do fantastic work for those who have suffered brain injuries. I am sure that such a large amount will go a long way in supporting the vital work that they do.”
