Maria Caulfield MP meets with environmental campaigners in Parliament

Maria Caulfield MP has met with environmental campaigning constituents in Parliament to discuss renewable energy including onshore wind.

The event, held in Parliament, was organised by the Conservative Environmental Network along with Vattenfall UK (a windfarm company) and 10:10 Climate Action to bring constituents and supply chain businesses together to meet Conservative MPs to lobby for support for renewables including onshore windfarms.

Maria Caulfield MP said “When I learned that constituents would be coming to Parliament to discuss renewable energy I was more than happy to meet with them. Renewable energy is an important part of our energy mix and we need to ensure that we are increasing our use of renewables going forward, especially as technology is improving making it more efficient.”
