Member of Parliament for Lewes, Maria Caulfield, is encouraging constituents to take part on the UK’s Ultimate Sea View competition being run by the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society.
The society is one of the UK’s oldest maritime charities and its work focuses on relieving financial hardship and distress amongst the sea fairing community. This competition is seeking to find the best image that portrays the UK’s relationship and connection with the sea. Entries can be made on the societies website, Facebook and Twitter pages.
Maria commented; “This is fantastic opportunity to showcase the wonderful coastline and coastal communities we have in our area.
“I look forward to seeing the winner of the competition and would like to thank the Shipwrecked Mariners’ Society for all the good work they do across the country.”
