Maria Caulfield MP attends Seahaven Business Awards

Newhaven and Seaford MP Maria Caulfield has joined with over 100 guests including the Deputy Lieutenant for East Sussex, His Excellency Ambassador Tran Ngoc An of Vietnam, Peacehaven MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle, and the Mayors & Presidents of the Chambers of Commerce of Peacehaven, Seaford and Newhaven.

The Seahaven Business Awards recognise businesses which have shown tremendous commitment, innovation, success, commitment to staff and businesses which take pride in being part of the community. Over 600 entry forms were returned this year nominating over 50 different businesses in the Seahaven area.

This year’s business awards were judged by Maria Caulfield MP, Lloyd Russell-Moyle MP, the President of the Newhaven Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of Peacehaven & District Chamber and the Mayors of Seaford and Newhaven.

Winners on the night included Lodge Hair Beauty Salon in Seaford (Best New Business), Hillcrest Community Café in Newhaven (Presidents Award), Easy Tone Fitness in Newhaven (Best Customer Service), The Hope Inn Newhaven (Best Eatery), Tomsetts Distribution in Newhaven (Business of the year).

Maria Caulfield MP said “Judging the Seahaven Business Awards was so difficult as we have so many excellent businesses across the Seahaven area, making choosing between them quite a task. I would like to congratulate all those fantastic businesses who were nominated and who won.”
