Maria Caulfield MP has taken part in Chandlers Bathrooms’ charity art exhibition by decorating a toilet seat in aid of Headway East Sussex Charity.
Artists from across Sussex have been asked to decorate a toilet seat, which will then all go on display at the Lewes showroom before being sold to raise funds for chosen charity Headway East Sussex. The exhibition & sale will take place during the week commencing 9th October 2017 at Chandlers Bathroom Showroom in Lewes.
The Lewes MP was invited to take part in the exhibition and has turned the blank toilet seat into the Parliamentary Seat of Lewes, a collage representing the balancing act of the role of a Member of Parliament, with images of the Lewes constituency, Westminster and fellow politicians.
Maria Caulfield MP said “I am delighted to be supporting Chandlers Bathrooms in this fun art exhibition, and look forward to seeing all of the other artists’ designs. My collage represents the varying aspects of the life of a Member of Parliament, and the balancing act that each of us has between our work in Parliament and our work in the constituency, and how they mix together.”
“Headway East Sussex is a great charity and I’m sure that we will be able to raise lots of money for them through this exhibition.”
