Maria Caulfield MP has announced the winner of her annual Christmas card competition as Anna from Annecy Catholic Primary School.
Ever year Maria Caulfield asks local primary school children to design Christmas cards based on a chosen theme. The theme of this year’s competition was ‘your favourite Christmas songs’ and featured entries based on jingle bells, Rudolf the red nose reindeer, rocking around the Christmas tree, and fairy tale of New York.
A winner was chosen from each school and an overall winner chosen from these. The overall winner out of all of the schools was Anna from Annecy Primary School with her entry based on We Three Kings. The runners up feature on the back of the card.
Maria Caulfield MP said “Once again it has proved to be a very difficult job choosing a winner in my annual Christmas card competition as the quality of entries was very high. However there must be a winner, so congratulations to Anna from Annecy Catholic Primary School for her excellent entry depicting ‘We Three Kings’. This will now feature on the front of my Christmas card that will go out to hundreds of people including the Prime Minister.”
“Thank you to all of the schools and children for their wonderful entries. Looking through them really has got me into the Christmas mood!”
