Bring COP26 to London

We all know that climate change is such a serious issue. That is why I am petitioning the Prime Minister and Parliament to do all that they can to enable the UK to take global leadership of the issue by hosting the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP26 in London in 2020.

I hope that you will sign the petition below so that we can show Parliament and the world the strength of feeling on climate change in the Lewes constituency.

To the House of Commons

The petition of the residents of the constituency of Lewes

Declares that climate change is a serious and pressing concern and needs urgent attention from the Governments of the world; further that the UK has a leading role to play on tackling climate change in the future.

The petitioners therefore request that the House of Commons urges the Government to ensure the UK hosts the upcoming COP 26 Climate Change Conference in 2020.
