A new Health Centre for every town

A new health centre is planned for every town in the constituency which includes, Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven and Polegate .

We know that our GPs are struggling to see patients locally and the single biggest reason is the lack of space in their surgeries as they are operating out of old buildings which struggle to meet local demands.

Work has already started on the new medical hub in Newhaven which will be in the town centre and £10 million has been given to the Lewes medical hub, by Government, as part of the redevelopment of the North Street Quarter. Polegate has a site confirmed and is just waiting for the final planning applications to go through and Seaford is also looking at a local site so that both practices can come together.
